Gen 2 Broncos with round headlights were limited to 1978 Custom models only. Many people think round headlights indicate all 78’s and that only 79’s had rectangular headlights. Not true - all 1978 Broncos with Ranger/XLT trim had rectangular headlights and all 1979’s - both Custom and Ranger/XLT trim levels - had rectangular headlights. Be proud of your round headlights! Here's my 78 that I saved from going to the scrap yard a couple weeks ago. Still working on getting her running. Absolutely love the round head lights!

I'm hoping some level of the new Bronco will have a standard 7" headlight and not a proprietary housing. That way we can choose what we want for aftermarket. JW Speaker, KC, Trucklite, etc.

78 Rocking the round lights and a chrome smasher back in the day. Ad came out of a magazine in 1979, so the truck was pretty much new.

What has to be changed to put round lights into a build? Just the buckets?
Buckets and the trim pieces I believe is all you need.
