Removable Hoop Steps for Bronco

The recent update to build and price brought a new option for removable hoop steps that seem to attach to Bronco. We've gotten a few pictures of what they look like on and off the Bronco. This will give you some idea of what is involved with removing them and putting them back on again.

EDIT:
Some clarifications from Ford.

1. The rails that the steps attach to are not the same as the rock sliders that are available on Bronco. They cannot hold the weight of the vehicle.
2. The steps do not work with existing rock rails. It's a different profile.

Will these steps work on existing factory sliders or are the sliders different when you order the removeable steps?

That's a terrible idea, when do we start?

Any chance we can get these "after the fact"? I took delivery of my Badlands with the rock rails in Jan. and was looking at replacing the rock rails with aftermarket. But this would be an interesting alternative if it can be added to my existing Bronco!

I'm thinking about the set from Rough Country. There are no rocks in S Florida.

I wonder if those are the same rock sliders as on the current production model. They look to be a little lower and/or further away from the rocker than what I've seen in person. If the same, hopefully these can be purchased and installed on current model. I ain't skeerd to do a little drillin'.

I don't have a great mind like @Deano Bronc and @JoergH, but I'm thinking like they are. I really want to keep my factor sliders and need steps. But, don't wants steps on there if I do go rock crawling.

It's a good question, seems like they might require some drilling and threading but I don't know.

I think these would be great as I dont Intend on any heavy rock crawling but, notice that If you damage the rail on a rock or obstacle, you wouldnt be able to

Are they assuming I weigh as much as the Bronco? Then i cant get in it since its load rating after the vehicle weight.....HMmmm...

This is a good clarification. So many people were thinking they were just buying a hoops or stirrups. The rail as depicted on the BnP was clearing not the factory rock rail, nor did that really make any since if it was available on all models.
I think I will stick with the tube steps for a bit more flying rock protection for now.

There are also these that were put out today.
IAG New Product Alert - EZ-Step Add-on
EZ-STEP V1 SITS EVEN WITH THE TOP OF THE OEM ROCK RAIL
The V1 EZ-Step is located at the same height as the top of the OEM rock rail. This location provides the best ground clearance while still improving your ability to get in and out of the vehicle.

Even when located at the top of the rock rail, the step height is lowered by 5 inches from the door sill opening. The added foothold prevents the need to step on the painted door sills or to slide across the seats. The textured black powder coat on the EZ-Step prevents slippage and adds a unique look to the exterior of the vehicle.
EZ-STEP V2 SITS 2" BELOW THE TOP OF THE OEM ROCK RAIL
The V2 EZ-Step is located 2" below the top of the OEM rock rail. This location allows easy access to the vehilce while still maintaining good ground clearance.

With this mounting location the step height is lowered by 7 inches from the door sill opening. The added foothold prevents the need to step on the painted door sills or to slide across the seats. The textured black powder coat on the EZ-Step prevents slippage and adds a unique look to the exterior of the vehicle.
