I'm trying to get the rear fender trim off so I can clean out the rust before adding new fender flares. All of the screws are philips head, and I cannot get any of them to budge. Is there some trick or anything I'm missing?

These can be a bear. I always start any aged screw with dose of:

I got them off with a trusty grinder. Flares are on:

All of the flares have been added and I went with Raptor Liner on the bottom portion to toughen it up. It was first time on all of this so some mistakes were made and it's not perfect, still I think it is tons better than having the open rust holes.

Looks good to me! I like the flares, they are a good idea to cover the rust on the wheel well. Both of mine are rusty...
