Is Ford serious? The 2021 Bronco doesn't come with a built in garage door opener? I'm spending $60K on my 2021 Bronco Badlands and cannot get a built in garage door opener unless I spend $5000 on a LUX package? Come on Ford..... Comments please. I really hope that this changes before delivery.

Might be able to just add an ap to your phone. Then you can have it in any vehicle.

I kinda feel the same way.
I think there is an aftermarket home link buttons you can add to any vehicle if not there should be.

I am with you on this. I get wanting to sell more higher trim levels but this seems a bit extreme. I am also disappointed I can only get the manual with Mid or higher on Badlands. However, I won't hold my breath on it changing though.

HomeLink would seem to be an easy inclusion for Ford for all models but I guess they have their reason for not including it except in the Lux package.

Have no fear, HomeLink functionality is an easy add on to almost any vehicle. Just find a junked vehicle with HomeLink built into the visor (or buy a used one off eBay). Remove the HL module and connect to to a switched power source in your vehicle and then just mount the buttons in/on a trim panel and you are all set. (y)

Agreed, this should be standard on every non-base model.

thats all I have ever had so not sure what the big deal with a built in button is on the visor. Guess I need to have it to appreciate the push button visor, instead of the clicker LOL

Ryobi makes a bad ass garage door system, but unfortunately you have a clicker or the phone app. But, their add-on accessories are great!! Air, light, speaker, etc.

But then again, it wont matter as my WT will be to tall to fit in our garage anyways LMAO 1st World and 21st century issues I tell you

I think HomeLink is reserved for high end packages on most vehicles.

Personally, Homelink sucks. I wish "they" would get up to date with technology.

Yes there was a thread about how terrible the home link is. Or 09 suburban I can not get it to work with either our garage door opener or our gate opener, so that one we have two clickers. In my 2020 Nox with home link it took about 1 minute to program to both the garage and the gate. I believe @Bonnie6G had a write up on how she was able to get hers to work.

Kinda sucks TBH. I have a larger property and the gate is motorized. Opening and closing the gate to leave, come home and for visitors/deliveries was not working for me. Needless to say, the F150 has it and the gate programmed. Guess I will have to use the app.
