I experienced a similar issue and after research including a call to Ford Customer Service I discovered that my Badlands order (as a walk in customer at a dealer without a reservation) will not show up in my Ford Pass app until I have a VIN number and add it. I was also told if you ordered through the app and then went to the dealer it might possibly show up, but it definitely would not with a in person dealer order.
I am interested to see if anyone has a different answer, but I have tried everything I could think to do without success.
