Question about BASE + towing option

So I've completed my order for a BASE 2-door. I know the towing package is not available, but out of curiosity I asked the dealer anyways. They said I would have to move up to a 221A Package, and it would cost about $5,000. Now other than the good laugh that brought me (I plan on swapping the rear bumper and get a hitch 3rd party and save about $4,000), it got me to wondering what is this "package". I'm guessing it's actually a model upgrade to BB. Anyone have an idea?

Yeah, I'm with you. I'm sure it is the step up to BB. You're definitely going the right direction and doing it yourself.

221A is the step up to BB 2-door Std Pkg, so that's why the change. Dealer basically just increased to a trim that has the option for a hitch.

Better off getting an aftermarket class III or IV anyway...
