Problems Scheduling an Order on Fords Website

Is anyone else having issues with the Continue button which is used to confirm the ordering of your vehicle? You click the button and nothing happens. My dealership can’t order my Bronco if I can’t confirm the order on Fords website.

You’ll need to call or go to your dealer to have them place the order for you. Print out what you have selected on Ford.com and bring it with you. If you are ordering now, you will likely not get a 2021 model, and could be mid to late 2022.

Sounds like the future ordering process is changing to lock you in at a particular dealer. That way if or when you change dealerships you have to cancel through them and will lose your reservation spot. this is speculation on my part. Until they clarify no one really knows. Heck even after they clarify it, no one knows for sure. I would figure out what you want, go to the dealer and try to get them to commit to a price, MSRP etc. before locking it in on line. A commitment up front in writing, then go online and put in your dealership in online. Then go back to the dealership with your build specs and their price point commitment.

Just called Ford Customer Relations and the Continue button is an issue. Seems that it started 8/3. I will stay on too of this and post when it is up and running.

I'm seeing the same thing too, I'm guessing it will be fixed in a day or so.

I just called Ford and they took my contact info and reservation number down. They say the current ETA to get this fixed is by next week, Friday the 13th. The rep did say that they would try to reach out if there is an update - mostly I think having a big list of reservations that are stuck will make them keep moving on it.

I'll probably try the Continue button every so often to see if anything changes but we are probably gonna have to be patient for a bit. Definitely will need to be patient for the Bronco to get built anyway :)

Thanks. I called today and got the same information. Next Friday was what I was told as well. So eager to get my vehicle ordered and hoping I happen to be one they pick that meets the build week based on the vehicle I ordered

I got the same email this morning and had the same issue where it got stuck at "Continue". Called the Dealer and they told me to be patient.

I actually met with my dealer last weekend to place my order, but couldn't submit as their system was down. He got my hopes up and told me I could have my Bronco by October. Not sure I buy that.

But back to the point of this thread...Just tried the Continue button and it worked! One step closer!

My complements for your perseverance. Nice job! From the image of the 4-Door Bronco, you may have a very good chance of obtaining your Bronco in calendar year 2021. It appears you have ordered a soft top Outer Banks without the Sasquatch Package. All good decisions for quicker delivery. Your dealer may have knowledge regarding your position within the allocations which facilitate quick delivery. All good!

The big unknown for many of us is the production volume for the remaining months in 2021. As you might already know, the Bronco production lost 2 weeks in July. August may have a similar production constraint. We just do not know at this point. We also do not know about the production schedule for September or the rest of 2021. We do know Ford is committed to building all the First Edition Broncos within 2021. Beyond that is unknown.

Cross your fingers would be my best advice.

I just tried and no such luck. Get nothing after pressing the continue button. Maybe something is down over the weekend. Hopefully tomorrow I will have better luck.

My dealer says they placed the order but this page still says "Ordering with Dealer" - anybody have a different result? I am 99% sure this website isn't particularly reliable and nothing will happen faster but it would be nice to know that Ford has the order in the (way way way back of) line

Do you know the priority code of your order? If it's 99 then your order won't be considered by Ford to be built. If it is less than 99 then you should halve have received a confirmatiion email about your order from Ford.

You could also try this URL once you logged into your Ford account. https://www.ford.com/buy/manage.html?reservationId=XXXXXXXX. Replace the X's with your reservation/order number. Mine is in priority code 99 until the 2022 order bank opens up and looks like this: Screen Shot 2021-08-11 at 2.32.41 PM.png

I think that was the issue, contacted my dealer asking about priority code and I think they reassigned it - got an email from Ford about 2 minutes after that the order was placed.

I just stopped and converted my reservation to an order today. The Bronco Specialist said this is due to the fact that some dealerships were converting all of their reservations to orders, including folks who were intentionally holding off for additional colors, painted tops, etc. that are expected for MY22. So this is just you giving consent that you want it to be converted.

Thank goodness I found this thread. I felt like I was losing my mind. My dealer probably thinks I'm an idiot, but I cannot get past the continue issue either. I tried on multiple browsers, on different operating systems, on desktop and mobile, I cleared my cache--nothing. I did a quick chat with someone at the Ford help desk online who explained it away as "website maintenance," but they didn't seem interested in what my issue was specifically. It seems like you've been working on this some time--can you point me in the right direction of who I should be reaching out to on Ford to A) raise this issue B) get updates from on when it will FINALLY be resolved? My order has been stuck in limbo and I'm getting irritated.
