Is the Bronco 2.7 going to have the plastic oil pan since it is 7 qt compared to F150 6 qt?

Plastic, steel, carbon fiber, aluminum, really thick cardboard:unsure:?...all I know is that @jossman is a winner! @Laura indicated yesterday that "Ford engineered 33 unique parts to ensure the Bronco met off-road rigors with power and finesse." With the establishment of a new oil pan as one, any clues or listing of the remaining 32 parts?

Research the 1 st gen 2.7 had a plastic oil pan. Crazy! My Jeep 258 had a plastic valve cover that leaked like a sieve. No good. Hope Ford corrected this or plan on keeping cardboard under UR vehicle.

dipstick? That brings up a good point though -- what is on the list. Will see if we can get that and share.

As long as there is a skid plate under it, I'm not worried.

Don't like the mod bumper, you lose the fog lights.

Not worried about damage just reports of leaks in F150's over the years. Also have to replace drain plug after a couple oil changes as it is plastic with an O ring

Same here, I removed it from my order after the ugly redesigned brush bar. So lost all the skid plates too but saved me about $2000 and I get the fog lights back LOL Now I'll just go AM for it

I’m sure Ford will make it work! The problem is engine vibration that shakes and breaks the gasket seal. Hold on the cardboard!

I dropped it to get the Fog Light button back and then will get an AM with a better winch setup and keep the AUX switches for other goodies

A little of this, a little of that, makes the Bronco “better than sliced bread.” It’s long overdue and sure there are growing pains, but look at the final product and it’s capabilities! Ford will make it work!
