I’ve seen some cool camper trailers. Does anyone know of a good match for Bronco?

Ive seen a bunch during my search. It eeally depends on preference. Mine is a sleep in camper with slide out kitchen and fridge. Solar shower. Im just makinging sure of the suspension on the trailer. So im looking at 12- 15 k for mine. Not sure i want to pull the trigger on that or just base camp with my 31ft 5th wheel. Lotts of choices..lmao

Yup, I agree.
Off road suspension is a must for me. I’m just looking for a smallish camper that is sturdy enough to keep up with a Bronco...

I'm also curious - I don't "camp" and neither does my wife ... however, we're both open to the idea of sleeping in a small camper (with a bathroom) - shower isn't necessary - but toilet is, 100%... and I'm curious what options are out there for something small for 2 people with 2 small dogs that would be towable by the Bronco

Ouch $15 k I paid less than that for our 30 travel trailer. I built my teardrop for about $2500 it has a 3500 lb torsion axel that i can adjust it to give it a 4” lift. If you can build a plywood box you can build your own. I built my frame and all but you can get a Home Depot or Tractor supply or even harbor freight and build a box to put on top. And for a bathroom a side tent with a camp toilet with baby diapers works great. 3E473350-478B-46EE-8BD1-F6D29AD5F38D.jpeg47CF1C09-BF73-4E1F-8576-3FF83928BEDC.jpegBBB0C1C7-1C9E-482B-9BEE-9EBA7712EC2C.jpeg

Oh yeah the teardrop is under 1000lbs. I used to pull it with a 2001 escape, didn’t even know it was back there.

No you don’t have to get that fancy. I am going to rebuild it since an oak tree fell on it a few years ago and it has just been sitting in the drive. I am going to make it with mainly straight lines instead of curves. There are a few folks home building these on YouTube. It is really just building a 5’ wide (queen size bed) 8 foot long 4’ tall plywood box

interesting... I'm not that handy when it comes to working with lumber/wood - working on cars, that's fine (I pretty much restored my 71 Dart in my garage by myself) - but maybe I'lll look into it. still not sure about bathroom options though, LOL

Oh there are lots of build sites out there with plans Even. I CADed up my plans but I do work with CAD all day . There is a build site called teardrops and tiny travel trailers (T&TTT) you could build an angular type tear in a weekend they call that plan the weekender. That would look really good as an off-road Overlander trailer.

That looks awsome....
I watched a you tube video of a guy who built one himself and thought it would be fun to do so. I looked into it and the convenience factor come into play. I dont have the Time to put into it right now. I have found ones that start at 45-7500 that are basic with good offroad suspension.

My pleasure. They look like really nice rugged trailers. I also like the Airstream Base Camp but that is getting up there in price and the off-road portion is more limited.

The Opus trailers might also do the trick for you. I would be seriously looking and the Bean and the Opus trailers if it were in the cards. It might be a few years before I can add one of these to the mix. Here is the link to Opus USA: https://www.opuscamper.us/
They have a unique airframe pop out tent on some models.
