I really can’t complain too much since I actually have an assigned VIN number and it appears my Wildtrack will be built sometime in 2021, but had to post this to see if anyone else has experienced the same thing. First email comes today at 10:44am saying my build date has been pushed to July 26……ok, take a deep breathe, it is what it is.
Then at 7:11pm, another update emails arrives, stating my build date is now August 23. Now its just bizarre.
My original build date was June 26, then pushed to July 5, and now two emails on same day. Control the controllable.
Again, I’m very fortunate to be in this position, but at this point, Ford should just stop communicating bogus dates to customers, tell the truth about what’s going on, get their sh*t together, keep building, and then give realistic status reports. “Under promise, over deliver” would win the day at this point. You know, the old fashioned way.
Anyone else experience something similar or know why this could have happened on the same day?
