No test drive, charging $200 to rent for a day

Wow my dealer gave me a wild track for 48 hours and all I had to do is bring it back with a full tank of gas, but you know what I would of paid the $200 for the experience and probably would of drove it a little harder and longer because of the fee, sounds like your dealer is hurting and probably gonna ad the ADM fees when your Bronco arrives, hopefully not for your sake.

Is anyone else’s dealer not allowing test drives of demo units and renting them out?

I have a reservation with them and stopped to check out the demo. I wasn’t even allowed to drive around the lot.

WTF!?! Time to find a new dealer!

I know I can get my $200 worth out of one in a day. It's for sure gonna be rode hard, put up wet, and returned dirty and bruised!

Haven't heard of that. Many are not allowing test drives on the mannequin they have. Been told by quite a few dealers that they only have 1 bronco and are not allowing test drives at the moment... some have said they should be receiving another or more that will be able to be driven.
Like other people have posted some dealers are letting people take the demos for 1-2 day test drives..... That sure would be nice.... Have checked out 2 wildtraks that were no goes on test drives, one in Texas and one in Wyoming.

I test drove a 4 door manual big bend soft top. Had it for two hours. I ordered a badlands 4 door manual MIC. Pushed to 22. Had the top back and it was a lot of fun. Plenty of power and torque.

Just when I thought dealerships couldn’t amaze me, with just how low they will go to make a buck. Then I read this thread

Some people need to be shopping for new dealers. Mine let me have his mannequin for the weekend.

These manniquins were sent to dealers specifically for reservation holders to test drive. These dealers not allowing test drives, or worse charging for test drives are ridiculous. Some dealers are putting these things behind glass keeping them pristine hoping to get top dollar when the six month window is up. Personally I wouldn't want to own one. They are very early production models and are going to be most prone to issues.
