Add that HOSS 3.0 to the Wildtrak and that's a bigger no.

Not unless you want the snorkel, wheels, winch and side graphics

The Everglades is an appearance package. Even the snorkel is for "looks".

I'm going to go against the grain a bit. It depends what you need.

Everglades is an overlanding rig. Has higher payload and a (slightly) higher towing capacity. Also has better fuel economy, and in general is more setup from the factory for overlanding/camping.

Wildtrak is more of a performance high-speed off-roading vehicle. Better performance, better suspension (if you get the new suspension package), etc.

Nah, Wildtrak maxes out at 3460 lbs without the bash plates. If you add-on the bash plates it drops to 3320 lbs I believe. Everglades has the full 3500 lbs.

Badlands is the worst among them—drops to 3260 lbs once you fully load it with the 2.7L engine and Sasquatch package.

Ya. Sorry. I was only looking at the engine tow capacity and not with the additional options.

No problem.

To be perfectly honest I think there is a typo in Ford's documentation. 4-door Black Diamond Sasquatch with the 2.3L (which is effectively what the Everglades is) maxes out at 3400 lbs. Strange that the regular Black Diamond would be limited to 3400 lbs but the Everglades maxes out at 3500 lbs, especially since it also includes a factory winch. So unless Ford saved weight elsewhere... not sure how it has 3500 lbs towing.

Either way, 3400 lbs is still more than the Wildtrak when equipped with bash plates.

The snorkel is not just for show. It just doesn’t mean you can drive through water 5’ deep even though the snorkel would be out of the water. A snorkel is for more than just water fording, it actually helps in dusty areas by gettin your air from a little cleaner zone.
