Here is my 1985 Ford Bronco.

It's a 300ci / 4.9L Inline 6 with a T-18 4 speed manual. It currently has 81,000 original miles.

Thanks for having me in the community.

Wow the 300ci I6 with a 4-speed manual and 81k miles - that powertrain is barely even broken in I bet.

Love the color combo.

she looks amazing, not held together by rust, bondo, and bird poop like mine!

It used to be! I had the sides replaced and everything repainted in 2017.

Wow, clean looking rig! Original paint too? Curious, what MPG do you average with the inline 6?

I had it it repainted in 2017. They added the white accent on the bottom. It's similar to the Eddie Bauer two tone but in white instead of tan. It had the typical rear quarter rust. They cut and welded new panels from the doors to the taillights on both sides.

I get around 14mpg in town and 16-18 highway if I drive really conservatively. The lack of overdrive is the biggest issue. The 33" tires did reduce the RPMs though at speed. The OD trucks will hit 20mpg depending on tire size and rear axle ratio. My dad gets pretty close with his '89 EFI 300 with the 5 speed overdrive. (He has 31" tires, 3.55 rear axle)

Good choice on the white accent. I hear ya on the lack of overdrive! I'm just lucky for the 32 gallon tank in mine, cause I seem to get 10mpg no matter how I drive it - 351w w/ C6 3-speed.

Yeah that's tough. The overdrive is definitely the biggest factor. Motorweek only got 11mpg when they tested a new 351 Bronco in 1988. That's about the best you're going to do.

You're welcome. Motorweek is normally quite generous in their reviews. They pretty much hated the Bronco though. Apparently there's not enough room in the back seat for fat guys.

@Raptor22 That blue and white goes well with that seaside. Got a matching boat to go with it? Well done.
