I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone’s MPG is for their current vehicles that the Bronco will replace. Please post specifics and your thoughts. I am currently driving a 2019 Subaru WRX STI. it’s full time 4WD and set up with a 6 speed manual. These cars are not efficient in the fuel department by any means. The gearing in it set me up to be running at 3200 RPM range at 80 MPH on the highway in 6th gear which is a overdrive gear. I am averaging 18.3MPG right now with the combined city/highway driving. I am probably 70% of the time on the highway in my daily commute. Even cruising flat on the highway at 80 the instant MPG value sits barely at 20. The Bronco with its newer DI/PORT injection and dual turbo v6 vs my old tech EJ 2.5 L flat four in the STI should be an improvement.

Bronco will replace a 2016 Chevy SS as my wife can not drive a stick. I'll be sad to see her go, but CA road are horrible so I need 4wd to clear the potholes. And we pay 10x more in gas taxes, but politicians just steal the road money as they definitely not fixing any. I get 19.1 if I avoid heavy traffic out of the LS3.

The original Fiesta went good. They have a cult following. My brother had one that had a header and rejetted carb, I blew off a 320i one day , bet his jaw is still on the ground.

If or when the rare day I drive to work comes it's a 2018 Tiguan, which would get about 27mpg for my commute, BUT given I never drive to work and actually more use this for taking the dog around, I idol 80% of the time, so I get around 14.4mpg according to my last trip.

I live <2 miles round trip to/from work (assuming I ever go back to the office and don't work from home full time), so my commuter vehicle is a bicycle. I have a 2014 Ford Escape that I use for everything else. I get about 26/24/22 depending on whether that gas cycle is freeway heavy, mix of freeway/around town, or just city streets.

Is the biggest jump in MPG the winner here ?
My 2007 F-150 Super crew 4wd King Ranch w/5.4 gets 11 mpg on a good day around town . Most of the time it gets 10 mpg . I can stretch 15 out of it if I do some highway travels . It's been a great truck for all of its 202k miles but it's time for a change .

I still drive my 1991 Ranger w/4.0 to work and with 327K miles it still gets 18 mpg around town . I'm keeping it just to see how much I can squeeze out of it . I think I got my moneys worth out of it . I paid a whopping $10,000 for it new :)

Those older Rangers are amazing. I've been looking for a used one for my daughter. You can't find a decent used one for under $10K. Amazing to me, as the newest ones were built +/- 10 years ago. The 2011s started at $18,600 and went to almost $30,000 fully loaded.

2009 Chevy Suburban LTZ. Getting about 16mph mixed use. I thought I was going to be replacing my 2008 Chevy Cobalt LS 5-speed that has been getting 33mph for the past 354,000 miles but. The wife wants the Bronco.
At least I can keep my 2004 F250 Lariat with a 5.9l Cummins. Oh wait my son wants to drive that.

I'm replacing my 2015 BMW X5. It's an in-line 6 supercharged. It really zooms. MPG is typically around 19MPG, so not much different than the Bronco. We haven't seen true specs yet. I'm not sure where the 2.7L V6 will sit, but I doubt it will make much of a difference to the bottom line.

It's a fun car, but we are starting to have a few issues with it. It's got some nagging A/C issues that comes and goes so the dealership can't find the issue. It started happening when it only had 30K and we have a little over 50k on it now. I just don't trust it.
