I went metal detecting with a friend for a couple of hours after work today seeings how I knew there would not be emails today.

I didn’t find a lot, but I found this 1900 Indian Head penny. You can still ready LIBERTY in the head band.

Anyone else metal detect?

I relate on a deep level to your statement.

Among about a cup full of old coins, various tools, trash, and other interesting things, I dug a cast iron tub and 3 of the 4 original claw feet out of the yard of my family-owned house built in 1900. Needless to say we sent it off to a restoration specialist and re-installed it in the bathroom, complete with the original Pennsylvania steel pipe work, repainted and exposed, and age period-appropriate shower fixtures and lighting.

I predict my bronco will be used to transport lots of similar projects in the future.

I have 3 White's. This is a good luck charm that was worn on a Spanish soldiers uniform. It was made in Spain around 1600. Made of copper. Quarter for size reference.

That’s an amazing find!!!
My first detector was a Whites MXT. I now swing a Minelab Equinox 800.
