So, I've never owned a new vehicle. Particularly not one with a twin turbo engine. I am (like most of us) very interested in doing what I need to do in order get a long life (200k+ miles) out of this vehicle.

So! What are some things I should keep in mind, particularly early on, to set myself up for long term success?

Thanks all!

Change the oil often turbos are hard on oil. I hear catch cans may be in order probably will add one to mine. An aftermarket charge air cooler and plumbing will help. Now I did have a 2008 that lasted 12 years and 357,000 miles and I treated it not so good. So it all depends on how lucky you get.

Use good fuel, change spark plugs and air filters, use stock air systems unless you get a tube done to support a change in air flow, and ensure the map sensor is cleaned for time to time. Watch the oil level and change often.
