Yes, it is. Celebrate it. I celebrate the United States Army Birthdate of 14 June 1775, and the Military Police Corps birthday of 26 September 1941, every year. I proudly fly my Army flag under Old Glory every day, with a light on it.

We get a four-day weekend out here in Bahrain, then I head to the airport Wednesday night for a much needed leave, and, to pick up my Badlands next week!

Thanks to all the vet's out there who've served our country, and to those who've given their lives. Our family (both of my moms and dads families, and my wifes' family) have been Navy since WWII till our son became Air Force.

He just got out this month after 6 years service doing what I have no idea, and am not allowed to even ask.
