Interesting how Loren says he is all in for the 2.7L with auto! Wow, he seems to love all the new tech. Bring it on!
That 10 speed auto is an amazing piece of tech. I have it in my 2018 Mustang GT Premium.
The shifts are amazingly fast. And almost imperceptible at normal driving speeds. 25 mph in a neighborhood, and you're in 5th gear, and don't know it.
Smash the pedal at highway speeds, and it downshifts so fast and hard, it will snap your head back if you aren't ready for it. Same from a dead stop, with a massive right foot kick. It breaks my Michelin Pilot, Super Sports, lose easily.
Keeps the power band spot on. Active exhaust in track mode, and it's a loud, haul ass, thrill ride!
I'm sure Ford tuned it differently for the Bronco, but I bet it does nothing but compliment that motor, and the type of driving we'll be doing in it.
