Watching the test and seeing the picture of the aftermath, I wonder if the motion of the solid front axle being pushed back and up on the left side and forward and down on the right during the initial impact creates a lever that assists in toppling the vehicle. This might be an instance where the isolation of the right and left side of the Bronco with IFS has an advantage. Maybe the hardcore physics guys could weight in on my theory.
