Is there some sort of “Bronco Wave” similar to Jeep?

I’m new to the Bronco community and I was just wondering if there is an acknowledgement of some sort.

Sure for Gen 1’s. It’s so rare to see another early Bronco when you are driving your early Bronco that both are usually frantically waving, honking horns and flashing lights to get the other’s attention! LOL

For Gen 2’s it a more subtle wave or nod that says “We really know we’re the coolest even if the Gen 1 folks don’t think so.”

For Gens 3-5, not so much.

Hopefully there won't be. Spent many years on bikes and had a Wrangler. Wave, wave, wave, wave. It gets old.

Jeep people wave at my 66 and 71 thinking it's a Jeep anyway, so I'm thinking probably not.

I would be very surprised if people in the new Bronco don’t wave to each other.

I’m not much of a waver. I’d probably return one.

I would invent my own reverse wave that calls Jeep owners to come to the Bronco side, more of a come this way kind of thing.

I started a thread about this 6 months ago on the Bronco6G forum. This was the results. In hindsight should have included I will wave to other Broncos, as well as I’m not waving at anybody.

I have a feeling we’ll have a bronco wave. I’ll probably wave at off-road jeeps too, I wave at badass Toyotas in my wrangler currently.

I think a subtle nod has more moxie. Can we go with that?

I find Bronco owners to be not nearly as pretentious as many jeep owners. We wave at everyone because we are nice people, not because we drive the same vehicle as some one else. The jeep wave is the dumbest thing ever to me.

I'm not much of a waver. I usually get this reaction when passing another Jeep.

Bronco Wave sounds like these new country songs with synths and auto-tune.

I like the idea of a simple nod. It's kind of like, yeah I know, and I know that you know...

I have a Mini-Cooper, and when I first got it people in other Minis always waved to me, so I would wave back. I just thought it was because back then, it was rare to see another Mini-Cooper on the road where I lived. Once, I happened to pass two while driving with one of my sisters. After seeing it happen twice, she asked what was going on, and asked if I was in some kind of a cult.

I always wanted a Jeep, but I never got around to buying one because people I knew that had them always complained about reliability issues. I didn't know waving at other Jeep owners was a thing with them too. I am just starting on this off road adventure; this will be my first Bronco, but I guess it's better late than never.

I like waving to people that acknowledge the vehicle not me it’s about the Bronco.

I hope not. I already have to do the Corvette Wave when driving my C5, and when I drive my FJ40 every Jeep owner mistakes it for a Jeep and waves at me! I tried to ignore them but then I started feeling bad, so sometimes I wave back, but it feels wrong o_O

I don’t think they’re waving because they think it’s a jeep, I think they’re waving because it’s another Off-Road vehicle. Kind of a club in itself.
