I definitely picked the right Off Roadeo location

On top of the unforgettable journey here, the state of New Hampshire has not disappointed. Beautiful countryside, great people, cool places to visit, and amazing off roading. Recent overnight rains had the trails a bit soggy starting off. Imminent thunderstorms in the forecast had us all worried all day, but the guides changed up the order of trails so we could hit some while dry before the rain made them impassable, delayed lunch to catch more trail time in the fortunately sunny early part of the day, and really pushed it to make sure we got the most out of the day.
Initially, part of me worried the off roadeo might be too newbie oriented to keep me engaged, but boy was I wrong. The adrenaline rush started early in the morning and stayed strong all day. We spent most of the day in a 2 door base squatch, and had the perfect balance of confidence in the vehicle and pucker factor as we slid toward trees in off camber corners in the loose, soggy NH soil.
I have a good bit of off roading experience, but I gotta admit, the trails scared me a few times. But by the end of the day, I felt amazingly comfortable in the Bronco.
Luckily, the thunderstorms forecast to start late last night didn't hit here until around 5pm. That was an adventure in itself.
If you're on the fence whether to do an Off Roadeo, you gotta do it. No matter your skill level. You will have a great time, and you will learn from it. Wondering which one to do? If I had to choose again, it would be NH. We had a blast!

Awesome write up @KennyMac.

Based on the pic of the 2 Broncos at the top, can I assume that Evan was your guide too? The staff works hard throughout the day to spot the best lines and stack rocks as needed making sure the participants have a positive experience!

How do you know you've picked the right one unless you do them all? :D

Yes, Evan was our guide, and did a wonderful job, especially working our trails around the impending thunderstorm. And he did a fantastic job spotting us, especially in the wet conditions!

Knew it - that’s his spot!
He is indeed an wonderful guy. He rode shotgun with me when he wasn’t blazing trail for the convoy.

Another point I forgot to mention, bring a guest if you can, it is most definitely an experience worth sharing with a friend or loved one! I brought my wife, and she had a blast, and was happy to get to drive some. She learned a ton about the Bronco, and realized why I've been so excited about it. At the end of the day, I asked her if we should still get one, and she said, "Oh gosh yes! I'm just trying to figure out how often I'm gonna get to drive it, or if I'll have to get one of my own!" I don't think that option is in the budget right now, so we'll just have to share, but now we can also share the excitement and anticipation on when ours will show up! And she's happy with the 2 door, so I'm happy!

You've sold me on heading to NH for my Rodeo! Terrain looks more like what I'll run into in the east side of the country. really good insight!

Honestly, I grew up in WV so I kinda felt like New Hampshire would be my go-to choice for whenever I get to attend. Thank you for sharing the pictures! I love the Tee-shirts they provided as well!

Unfortunately, the shirts and hats were extra, but very cool and well worth it. Especially the location specific ones, you won't find them anywhere else. The Yeti is included, and the stickers fly for answering questions and volunteering. FYI, when they ask for a volunteer, it's something you want to do, it's gonna be fun, so go for it!
