Fellow Bronco Enthusiasts,

Can anyone tell me the ground clearance of a stock Badlands (non-sasquatch) on the provided 33" tires? The specs sheet wrongly states it as the abysmal 8.3" that is on models with the 32" tires. Thanks.

I asked my salesman the same question yesterday. He didn't know and thought it came with 32" tires????? I'd like to know this answer as well.

Hahaha, exactly. My guess is that it's 9.4” (which would suck, because I think a Rubicon is 10.4”)

You are usually limited by the tire size since the lowest point would be the rear differential. The only way to bring that up would be taller tires or portal axels. But even portal axels have a fairly low ground clearance it is just that the Lowest part is close to the tire and if you are going over a rock that part should get pushed up with the tire. I think too much is put on ground clearance if you choose a good line it might not matter. Or you might have to stack rocks to get over an obstacle I think that is the real fun of off roading using what you have to get where you want to go.

It’s an online-dig, from a long post in 6G.

Was changing oil and did a quick measure to rear diff… I’m calling it 10” (maybe just a bit shy). About the F33D4264-9D5D-4E54-B2DC-FB36FF3A221B.jpeg9872D91B-2405-4226-8355-ECAEDAB8154F.jpegsame to control arm mounts…didn’t check to skid plates or other spots…

Check to the bottom of the shocks

That is probably where the 8.4" comes from, but they are so close to the tires, it would be unusual to hit there.

Yeah, it's wrong. That's with the stock 32'' tires on other models. There’s just a blanket ground clearance on any Bronco that isn’t a Sasquatch package with 11.6”
