FAQs

Can members give their FordPass Rewards Points to someone else?

No. At this time, FordPass Rewards Points cannot be gifted to another FordPass Rewards member.

Can FPR Points be redeemed on FordParts.com or Accessories.ford.com?
Not at this time. The Ford Parts and Accessories websites are not currently integrated with the FordPass ecosystem. Parts and accessory redemptions must be completed in-dealership.

What happens if a member needs to return something they purchased with Points?
Points are not able to be reissued for returns. For returns on items purchased with a Points redemption, dealers should handle internally with credit or Goodwill Points.

Can members see which special offers they are eligible for?
No. At this time, FordPass Rewards bonus offers are only visible to dealerships via the Member Portal dealer facing tool. (Eligible Bronco offers will be loaded into the Member Portal in the coming weeks)

One FordPass Reward is worth approximately .005 of a dollar.

Everyone who downloads the FordPass smartphone app and connects it to a new vehicle will get 42,000 points — a value of about $210 — which is enough for three oil and air-filter changes, Ford said. Customers who purchase a certified pre-owned Ford will receive 11,000 points. (As of May 6, 2019)

If you like to bet on a sure thing...then, it's that I'm going to screw-up using my FordPass points. Mostly because I'll never get the name straight in my head...I'll use FordRewards, PassPoints, BroncoPass, BroncoRewards, or whatever...and the dealership folks will just stare and ask me what I'm talking about. They would be better just giving me cases of oil and filters and saying, "Good Day!"

Probably should have picked some different FAQs to include in that communication. Of the 4 questions answered, the answer to 4 of them was "No." I'm ready for some more positive answers! Just in general, wanting a "Yes!" Here and there...

You’d say it right and the dealerships folks will still just stare and ask you what you’re talking about

It is true, not all Ford dealerships accept the FordPass Rewards, but most do. The first step is to verify acceptance of the program with your chosen Ford Dealer.

If your referencing the value of the 200,000 bonus points, the value is approximately $1,000.00 (.005 times 200,000).

It would be $1,000 for 200,000 point. You take your total points and multiple it by .005 and that will get you the total amount of $$. I work at a Ford dealership

I do not have a Smart Phone! Can I download the App to my old fashion desk top home computer? Can my Friendly Local Ford Dealer keep this account information for me?

Or are dinosaurs like me just out of luck?

It's too bad they cut off the benefit after 2020 reservations. Lots of people waited and reserved up to the "deadline" Ford told us in March. They still went out on a line, not knowing when they'd get their bronco. And the only way to get the Modular top benefit is if you give in and cancel that from your order? Why not reward people that ORDERED with the Modular Top, then got told months later it will push them to 2022? Basically you're getting punished for ordering something they said would be late availability. But if you cancel that order you get a reward? They should reward the people that do NOT cancel it, but are falling way behind in the production. The others just swap out top types and get their Bronco, along with $1000 in points?
