Finally an Email from Ford

I just received the same email and I already received a production date email for the week of July 12th. When I click on the track the order link my status is now Ordered with no other details, I can only assume the July 12th date no longer is valid...sad day.

My status states "In Production" but it has said that for about 5 days now. Apparently I have a build date of 6/23 (tomorrow). We shall see.

I'd be happy with that email. Still hoping for my build email. A few months from now we'll all be saying "remember how mad/sad/frustrated/disappointed we were? The wait was sooo worth it" AND IT WILL BE!!! hang in there.

My date was changed in May, so fortunately it's still 7/19, and Mercury Retrograde is over

So let me get this straight? I was supposed to have my WT produced July 19th. They say we should have received a change in that date, but I haven't received anything other than this email... So, I'm not even sure what to think? Did it state when it was supposed to be in production on the order tracking page? Can't remember and if it did, I am now back to order confirmed. Thoughts?

I assume if they don't mention it, it's still whatever it is. Think it's just an acknowledgement email, as whenever I clicked, never saw my build date. All I know is this year, one way or another

Just got this email today at 4pm. I know there was one that I got March 25 that told us about the free sound deadening headliner.

Today, Ford is sending a communication to Bronco order holders who have received a scheduled for production communication. The comm provides customers more details surrounding the shifts in production many have experienced. To help assist with incoming customer questions, please review the attached advanced notice customer letter that will be sent around 3:00 pm EST and corresponding FAQs.



Key Messages

Acknowledgement of one or more changes to their production date

Challenges of ramping up our hardtop roof supplier, causing shifts in our scheduling plan

Reminder we will continue to update them at every milestone – vehicle built & vehicle shipped

In Vehicle Visibility, several customers’ build dates have been adjusted over the past few weeks, however, they have not received any communication from Ford about the change. Why? We made the decision to pause the automated communication while the scheduling plan is shifting due to the hardtop ramp up. Communications will be turned back on once the shifts in scheduling have been completed. This will greatly reduce the amount of times a customer receives an update that ultimately is not their actual build week. In the meantime, we are providing all scheduled order holders this letter to better explain why changes are happening.

What causes changes in the scheduling plan? Scheduling can be impacted by commodity availability which occasionally changes between when the vehicle is scheduled and when it gets built. The ramp up of hardtop production and other commodities can cause scheduling shifts. NOTE: Customers receive their scheduled build week ~ 45-60 days ahead of actual production.

So based on that final comment, if we haven't received a build date it looks like current ones waiting are now looking at September and beyond for production. According to an earlier post MY21 production ends December 12th. I would be pleasantly surprised to see more than 50,000 MY21's built at this rate. That would coincide with the published analysts' comments that Ford has 2-1/2 years of Bronco order backlog.

Okay so the last email I got on May 12th about my production date said that it was moved from the 14th to the 28th. Does this new email from today mean that this new date isn’t valid anymore?

That's what I wanna know, I went from 6/28 to 7/19, I hope this isn't gonna be a reassigned date, I'll be pissed like that Canadian Union Rep from the "Tired of Ford" thread

On April 22nd, I got an email titled "Your vehicle is scheduled for production". It shows a build date of June 28. That's 67 days. Further, I called the Marketing line just now because of today's ambiguous email and was told my build date is now August 2nd. That's 102 days. I'm not sure what this means in relation to the remark I highlighted.

I was thinking the same. Maybe 40k-50k

I feel like Ford keeps doing this to me... But not how you would think.

10 years ago, I was buying my first car 100% on my own, a Ford Focus SEL. This was the first generation of this model of Focus, and it ran into production issues due to a tsunami in Japan, where they were getting the Tuxedo Black paint from. I was so excited to get my first car, but it was delayed, but I was so excited when I finally got it.

Flash forward to today. Buying a first generation of a new model Ford and another large event, the pandemic, hits, which slows production down. I am still very excited to finally get my Bronco, but I haven't been as lucky as some of you. I don't know when it will be scheduled for production. I am hoping I will get it by Christmas, so I can drive around Detroit without fearing I will slide off the roads. While the Focus has been great, and also terrible due to transmission issues, I am ready to jump up into a truck that will be able to handle just about anything.

Now ya got me all concerned, so I double checked things

I got an order confirmation email May 27th giving my build week for July 26th. I never received another update and when I called the Bronco help line last week it was the same date. I assume it either is the same, or maybe has the potential to change but they're waiting for all this rescheduling to shake out before sending another update. I'm a crazy soft topper, so I would hope the MIC top restrictions wouldn't impact me too much.
