I'm really digging the look of the 4WP fender deletes, I'm thinking this might be my day 1 mod before my Bronco even gets a tag. They say they'll have accessories before you have your Bronco!
Oh, and they'll have the BYOD rails, gotta have them too!

I suspect you could also just use Bumper Plugs in the holes that are color matched to the paint if you don’t want the black trim. Super sleek and might cheap too!

I agree...the fender deletes have a lot of opportunity to add some differentiation to your ride. Plus, I just hate seeing holes in the body.

I certainly like the look of the deletes. However, having experienced the kick-up that happens with wide tires and no flares on my Titan, I think I'll keep the flares. Cleaning and keeping the truck chip-free is a nightmare.

You just have to embrace the mud and chips, then its not so bad. I got over it pretty quick in my F250.

Yeah we live on and travel a lot of gravel and/or sand roads. What doesn't get chipped gets sand blasted..........what doesn't get sand blasted gets chipped lol.

PPF will help but not eliminate paint chips

The fender flares are literally my only dislike about the bronco. They aren’t bad but then I saw the extended flares and about . The flare deletes are . I also know the BFG tires like to catch and throw rocks. I talked with the Ford Performance rep about their build and he claimed Ford Performance was also adding a flare delete. He didn’t seem though.

I’m pumped and will for sure be getting them.

Get PPF applied and then ceramic. Ceramic doesn’t protect against chips, PPF does.

Ceramic over the PPF or the other way around?
Does ceramic only protect against scratches?
What's the going rate on ceramic coatings?

Sorry for all the questions, never done ceramic coating on a car before xD

@guzie had it right. PPF and then ceramic coating. And actually, if you really want to do it right it’s:
1 - Paint Correction
2 - Paint Protection Film
3 - Ceramic Coating (or Wax)

Ceramic coating does not prevent scratches it is simply a paint protectant like wax. There are TONS of options from Professional ($500+) to DIY (<$10). The key to any paint protectant like ceramic or wax is the preparation! You will need to clay & deoxidize your car’s paint before application for optimal results.

Thanks for the info! Guess I'll have some research to do before delivery :D

Yes. Paint correction first, even straight from the factory. There are blemishes that can happen in transit and some dealers don’t take as good care in the detailing for delivery. The ceramic acts as a hyper wax. It sheds water and dirt better than wax. Water beads up like a pin head on it and with a professional grade it lasts through years of daily exposure to the elements. It doesn’t need regular re application like wax either. The PPF application would not work well over ceramic.

This second image is after 30k miles of driving and the front has stayed chip free. The film takes the abuse and not the paint.

Love the look but that was my main concern.
