Hey FORD- please don't forget the female driver market; please encourage local dealers to hire women as sales reps, mechanics, event leaders, and you'll see the sales of Bronco surpass Jeep. As a former Jeep owner, Jeep knows how to reach women who control the family dollars. Thank you~

Ford loves soccer moms. The success of the explorer should attest to that. My Mom absolutely loves her Jeep. It drives like a tank...has had the death wobble a few times … and NEVER... ABSOLUTELY EVER....has left the pavement.... But too each their own. I almost got into trouble when she showed up with a new winch bumper and 12,000lb winch. I started to say " good lord woman your 70 years old and baby the jeep.... why on earth do you need a winch???" instead I settled with " Wow that looks great"

Absolutely Ford wants that market.... I will try not to throw up when I see the sticker " silly boys Broncos are for girls" on a pretty pink Bronco.

Male or female, the salesperson needs to know the product before trying to sell. I had a bad experience with a salesperson who didn't know anything about Mustangs. I was searching inventory a Mustang when the local dealer's salesperson contacted me. First thing to know I was looking for a 2019 GT 6 spd coupe. The salesperson tried to sell me a 1- 4cyl coupe, 2 a 4cyl convertible leftover, 3 a used 2016 coupe. when I informed this lugnut I wanted a new car,a GT, V-8 ,the response was "they put V-8s in that car?" Cost them a Mustang and I won't go to them for a Bronco.
Dealers are supposed to have Bronco Specialists, so make sure you talk to them.

Maybe they should just hire whomever applies and is the most qualified?

Exactly. You always have to have someone sprinkle in this “female too”. But at the end of the day no one cares about the gender, but rather who can perform and deliver the best.

I think once the bronco hits the dealerships my wife will want one too! She is showing more and more interest in it. We might be buying two.

I am on the same page. Since I told my wife about it, I feel she's been sending more and more info. As she posted a few nights ago on FB "his and hers?". When the last teaser commercial came out.

As a female the worse a dealer can do is patronize me. I have a strong feeling on what I want in the Bronco and would be disappointed if a dealer spoke to me as if I was a 2 year old. I used to have an 82 Bronco I currently have a 02 f350 and 13 mustang. I will be trading the stang for the Bronco The hardest Decision I am having is 2 or 4 door. I dont have kids but many Large dogs so my concern is interior dimensions. But I have Hopes that Ford will Understand Women Buy Trucks as well especially Horse/Dog women.

Having owned both 2 and 4 door Wranglers my advice is that with large dogs you will want the 4 door. More room and they will likely drive better. And I think lifted and with 37’s they will be great off road. Also if you pull a horse trailer you’ll want the extended wheel base for towing.

I am having the same problem 2 or 4 doors we as well have dogs three of them. We are going to keep our Navigator but sell our two mustangs and our edge. In the past I have coach some of our female friends on how to treat a salesman that does not show respect towards them. In fact we went looking for a vehicle for my wife I kept telling the salesman to talk to her as she will be the primary driver he didn’t we walked out.

There are good and bad salesmen. Some are more suited to selling appliances and some shouldn't be selling cars.Sometimes the customers attitude dictates how the salesman responds, go in with a attitude you get attitude.

I agree completely agree on patronizing salesman. Will never forget when I went to get my second vehicle about 25 years ago, was looking at a corvette, the salesman told me to bring my father. So I went a bought a 3 series BMW instead. Since then I’ve purchased/leased many cars and just finished restoring a 2002 TJ, which is my baby. Mind you that hasn’t happened since then, just want a professional and knowledgeable salesperson. Do not underestimate the purchasing power and knowledge of the women car enthusiast out there. I am looking forward to the 2 door Bronco, would love a manual but it’ll be my daily driver and south Florida traffic is not fun. Looking for a road trip and exploration vehicle.

Thanks for you input. I am not worried about towing my horse trailer since it is a gooseneck and thats what my F350 take care of

Dealers are supposed to have Bronco Specialists, so make sure you talk to them.

In Germany, Aafes Auto Sales (The on-post auto sales place) was attempting to sell a Mustang GT with a body kit badged as a Shelby for around $45k. I walked all around it, noticed the ride height was wrong, there was no signature, the body kit was wrong. Then I asked him which engine, he said 4.6 S/C and I asked him to pop the hood, he wouldn't do it. I then proceeded to call him out on the BS and he still stood there trying to tell me it was a Shelby. This was in 2010 btw, it was the 09 GT with a body kit and nothing more.

Knowledgable sales people are important, but so are knowledgable buyers, because I saw two of those same cars driving around, the people got ripped off.
