We have ordered our bronco but still waiting on it, the dealer informed us that they will not sell us the bronco we ordered unless we sign contract stating that for 18 months if we sell it we have to sell it back to them for MSRP, the dealer is selling broncos for $90,000 and wants to prevent me I the event I should sell it to not make money on it?? Anyone else having this issue, can I change my dealer??

It’s to late to change to another dealership once your order has been placed.

Drive it for 17 months and sell it back to them at MSRP!

Make sure that theres a clause in there that says even if the MSRP in 17 months is higher than the market value for a used bronco they still have to pay you MSRP :D

So, if I understand this right. You pay for a vehicle, drive it for 18 months and you get your money back? Doesn’t sound too bad.

Well damn, talk about holding your value, for at least 18 months that is. Also, who in the hell is paying 90K for a Bronco? What are ya’ll smoking in Oklahoma? People do realize Broncs are going to continue being made right.

So due to demand dealers are going to be selling these way over MSRP. This dealer told us they will sell them for 90,000. My issue was if my bronco is going to be worth 80 to 90G's why should I not be allowed to sell it if I desire and get what market value is?? Why should I have to sell it for what I paid but they get to sell it and make $30,000. It seems like BS when this wasn't a stipulation when I ordered it.

They said they won't sell us the bronco we ordered unless we sign this contract and from what I understand Ford will not allow us to change dealers.

This sounds dangerously close to coercion. I can not imagine it would be legally binding. I would call Ford first. If they couldn’t resolve it (the relationship between Ford corporate and the dealerships is insane to me), I would get on Fiverr or the like and hire someone to just blast their social media with negative reviews. Or, I bet if everyone here piled on with a review noting their coercion tactics, they would change their tune very quickly.

Spoke with the dealer today and what they are doing is actually placing a lein on my Bronco so that I can't resell it for 18months. I am paying cash for my Bronco and not financing it.

Gift it to a family member and have them sell it for you; lol

That’s a bunch of BS. If you own it outright they have no claim. Once it rolls of the lot and especially if you hold a free and clear title there isn’t anything that ties you to them.

If you paid in full and owe them no money and have no outstanding payments or warranty charges than they are required to send you a clear title.
Financing , warranty and additional services could be the reason and ability that they could technically do that but that would be a dick move from a bottom feeder dealer.
