I’m new to the “reserve” and ordering a new vehicle. Bought some new ones of lots, but never ordered one. On the 13th we can reserve a Bronco.

How does that work with the pricing? Will we be able to get anything off the msrp if we reserve?

I want to know what to expect when I pluck down $100 on the 13th!

Anything off MSRP, highly unlikey unless you are an excellent negotiator. Why would the dealer offer anything off MSRP, let alone wanting to charge you more with ADM add-ons? You raised your hand on day one, said I'm impatient, I want it NOW, of course the dealer knows you're their kind of highly profitable customer and will darn well take full advantage of you.

They aren't going to deal on the Bronco anyway. Just like the Mazda dealers were selling Miatas way over list when they were introduced.Hellcats the same and so on and so on.

So how does it work if it’s ordered online......do we select a dealership to have it delivered to?

Correct, on the reservation first step is select dealer. You do your negotiating directly with the dealer. You can change dealers if needed by calling Ford directly, such as your dealer wants thousands in ADM.

There will be dealers day one selling below MSRP. Just have to shop around. There were with the Gladiator while others were selling it for $20k over MSRP. It's a normal production vehicle not limited edition.

I guess we will have to see how the web site handles the demand. I am all in on putting $100 down, but I also want to be able to select all the options I want in order to have an idea on what I am going to be paying once it arrives at the dealership. I have learned you just need to tell the dealer no to all the extra not necessary dealer mark-ups before you go, otherwise you will be at the dealership for hours going back and forth.

Why would anyone buy a first run new bronco? Ask the people who bought 2010 raptors with a 5.4 how pissed they were when a 6.2 came out with about 90 more HP and the same cost. If you have any brains wait til year 3

Correct, you will select the dealer you want to deal with. They will actually be the one holding your deposit, not Ford Motor Company.

Maybe so but holding onto the $10k bill in my mind isn’t the most fun. What about in 1966 the 170 I-6 was the only engine choice but what happened in 1967.....????? Yea sorry no thanks on a 170 I-6!!! Just be slightly patient this first vehicle is going to be terrible !

I feel you, but I also don't think we're going to see that drastic of a jump with these newer models. I guess time will tell with that though

I have a local dealer who has already posted on their website they will not be charging more than MSRP for the Bronco. Another local dealer is one of those set price, no negotiation dealerships, that will probably be lower than MSRP on day one. The Bronco is a high production vehicle, and Ford wants to get it into as many driveways as possible, so I really don't think we will have to worry about big dealer markups, in general. There will obviously be some that want to take advantage of people, and some that will just want the publicity a dramatic ADM will create.

I have waited so long to buy this. If I go to order one to the dealer I have bought my last three new vehicles from and they try to screw me around, I'll get my $100 and head across town to the Jeep dealer and make a deal that day with incentives on a Wrangler.

Say......what?!?!

Have you seen the options for the Bronco? Won’t be no comparison between the two.
