For those the are building a classic bronco, with a tie budget, I want star this thread, so we can help fellow bronco owner, building there classic Broncos, went the bronco were first sold they have 2 options for motor and 2 options for transmitions.
The 302 two barrel and L6-300 good motors and 3 speed c4 trans for those times, now we are living with $4.00 a gallon and 70 mph hwy's
So what is the best solution in a budget?
First what good choice for a budget build parts the you can find in a salvage yard or Craigslist.
The biggest problem is the transmition if you don't change anything else, get overdrive, it will make that bronco all around good drive.
My opinion first choice ZF5 and aod there are million of cars and trucks in the road today, with this transmitions. There are easy to setup and great value for the price.
All this budget friendly suggestions it will need some elbow grease.
