Next Build & Price Update?

Does anyone have reliable information on when the next B&P update might take place? With the order banks now open you would think Ford would want to get the latest pictures even if CGI (e.g. Black MOD Hard Top, FE black leather, etc. )on B&P as well as showing pictures with more of the accessories beyond the ones that have been there since October (the sweet BESTOP Front Row Twill cover comes to mind). Removing the glitches wouldn't be a bad idea either.

I'm holding off on placing my orders until they release the update. Obviously, I won't wait until the last minute, figuring March 10th gives me enough of a buffer. My dealer already pre-built (whatever that means) two orders in the system for me.

I haven't heard anything about a specific date, just that it would be in March. Good luck!

You can see the Black Modular Hard Top rendered if you go to Ford of Canada's website and access the build and price through there. https://www.ford.ca/ Just use a random Canadian zipcode for your location so you can get into the Build and Price. The Modular hard top rendering isn't broken on the Canadian build and price like it is on the US website.

Not sure if this is true but I'm just giving the long and short of what one dealer told me. The bronco "specialist" told me that he was told during his latest phone in meeting with Ford that while not be told to the public, the time/date you turn your reservation will have bearing on when you receive your bronco. Not just your reservation priority. Probably a load of BS but you never know. You can always adjust the build through March.

It's not disappearing all the time when you select the headliner. I've read people saying it dissappears when you turn the doors off in some views. I'm not having that problem either. Still some more work to do on the mod roof on/off in the image table.

Been digging through the B&P system on a Wildtrak 2dr and combing through the the available Accessory Guides and Order Guide and find some issues/questions:

An option for roof/door panel (on vehicle v garage storage) is available for just the Front Row Roof Panel which is included in one of my options or packages selected. To get the rest of the (four) bags rear panels and doors there is no option, only an option to get all 5 bags, with no credit or delete of the included bag. There seems to be missing an on vehicle bag option for four remaining bags - rear panels and doors to supplement the included front panel bags.

Winch and bumper: Selecting the Winch option forces the HD Bumper into the order deleting the Compatible Bumper. The description under the Winch and Compatible Bumper both point out that it is the Compatible Bumper that is required for the Winch option - a Warn Zeon 10,000. Dealer rep says it is the HD bumper which looking at them, I disagree (she hasn't done her homework?) - can The Nation sort this out with the Ford folks?

At this point I am strongly considering buying a winch outright, getting the one I want for less and dong the install myself - just need to know which bumper to spec.

Heated Steering Wheel: Available as an individual option in the standard Mid Package; include in the LUX Package and per dealer rep, selecting it would trigger the LUX option (hu?). I am selecting the High Package, which removes the individual availability of the heated steering wheel. If it is available individually in the Mid, why not the High, and let it be included in the LUX? This one doesn't make sense. Another question for the Ford folks from The Nation.

Many "toss in by dealer lose" options can be found as an over the counter accessary for less money when bouncing the Accessary Pricing Sheet, just released, off the pricing in the B&P system - very interesting...

The heated steering wheel is only available as part of the Lux package. There is no standalone option for it or other way to get it from the factory.

So, another glitch in the build and price system...

When I try to replicate what you are saying, it wants me add the lux package. It can be really buggy at times so it might be something they fixed recently.

No. It's not a glitch. If you click the heated steering wheel in B&P it automatically selects and charges you for Lux package. In reality the only way to get a heated steering wheel on the Bronco is to get Lux package. It's not available in the mid package or high package. If you start out with a Wildtrak and you are in Mid Package by default. You click heated steering wheel it ups you to Lux package. You downgrade yourself to mid packge or high packege, the heated steering wheel is removed. It doesn't show as a standalone option anymore. I guess that is a little glitch. If you go down to the bottom and reselect Lux Package and scroll back up it will show you that you have a heated steering wheel selected. The only way to get a heated steering wheel is to get Lux package.

Heated steering Wheel listed and when selected, forces the LUX package - Yes or No... thanks! It isn't listed when the High Package is optioned.

It should add the Lux package when you select heated steering wheel. Heated steering wheel is one the Lux package only items like the B&O stereo. You can't get it standalone.

Yes it did. Odd that it is listed when the Mid Package is what is spec'd by default, like bait but, not when the High Package is optioned - my idea of a glitch.

Yep, exactly. It's one of the options that I wish were a standalone as I would probably just go with the high package. I was trying to replicate what Black&Blue was saying. Thought maybe he got it to work because of a bug.

Nope, will have to get out the warm gloves when I go Snow Bashing up here in N. NM, just like when I am out doing it in my classic. Now that I see that selecting the Heated Steering Wheel option drives the LUX Package to be selected to get it, I then found it odd that they didn't bate the options with the Heated Steering Wheel when I selected the High Option., it wasn't there any more. Being an engineer I look for consistency and uniformity I guess...

Even if he got it to work in B&P as a standalone due to a bug, it wouldn't matter since the dealer still wouldn't be able to order it as a standalone option.

I'm right there with you wishing it was either standalone or included with mid-package with the heated seats. I can't say it makes a lot of sense to me why you don't put both heated items together.

Totally agree that the heated steering wheel should be included with heated seats and be available as an add on to the High package. In Minnesota once you've had a heated steering wheel it's hard to not have one. It's been the 6th warmest January on record here and this it what it looks like.

The capable bumper will not be available for ordering. The winch forces the HD bumper. There is no way to mount a winch without getting the winch package. So, you can't just buy a winch because Ford isn't offering the mount separately.

Have installed several Warn's over the years, so believe the aftermarket will supply if Ford is not willing to share. I am thinking in that Ford is sourcing a Warn, that the "mounting solution" is also coming from Warn - it is possible and probable. If not, time, steel and some fun in the shop will produce/fabricate a workable solution. Can always keep an eye out for a Bronco that has one and go from there - plagiarism is allowed.
