Order guide and B&P: beware of discrepancies

As you place your order, be weary that the final order guide posted here and the order guides used in some dealerships are allegedly different.
Case and point:
I gave my order to our salesman working the Bronco orders during some downtime in our dealership today (I am a salesman as well).
BD, 2-door, 2.7l engine. Our order guide says rock rails are optional on the BD. The final order guide posted on BN a week or so ago says rock rails come standard on the BD.
I don’t care one way or another, but I just wanted to let y’all know. That way you won’t be caught off guard when you place your order. Some features and accessories might not add up like you planned.
I’m getting clarification tomorrow on my order, I’ll post with an update in case anyone is curious because they are running into the same issue.

Right. The comparison guide and final order guide published by BN say rails are standard on BD. but the order guide our Bronco specialist received and online B&P say rails are an accessory. So I’m giving Ford the benefit of doubt and assume they’ll install them in-factory or ship them in for installation after the fact.

B&P definitely says the BD comes with the rock rails standard. So they messed up. the old double billing
they are reading it wrong. It is an accessory on some model, just not this one. I had pointed it out in one of the other threads

This is still the same with the Badlands. Says the rock rails are standard, even shows it on the vehicle, but still has it listed as an accessory to add for $600.

I understand that in the B&P they list all options on the order sheets. That is for setting up your build. Some builds have certain features and options as standard and some are options only for certain models. The problem is that when you are building your Bronco, the program should have a pop up that tells you if something is already standard on your build. So you don’t accidentally order something that is standard for your build. Because if you don’t catch it, they will charge you for it. And for example, the rock sliders/rails, they should ask you if you are wanting to order an extra pair. Because in effect that is what you are doing.

Somebody's sure to mess this up. I can't wait for the pic where the dealer goes to install the accessory rock rails, there's already rock rails there, and someone gets creative to mount 2 sets of rock rails!

Yes, my dealer confirmed today when I ordered that the rails come standard on the BL. We went through the B&P and the rails were an add-on, but when he placed the order, my accessories listed rails at $0.

Did you see the rails listed on your actual order sheet you had to sign? I don’t have it listed on mine and I went BD where I thought they were standard too.

No, rails are not listed on my final order sheet. They were listed on my B&P sheet they printed, but as my dealer (manager) reviewed my actual order sheet with me (to compare to the B&P) he made sure to mention that they are included in the BL package.
