VIN Model Year of First Year Bronco's

Just curious, not sure if this has been asked? Typically new model years come out in August. Was wondering what my VIN year will be if I don't receive my Bronco until August or September? Will it be a 2021 or 2022 ? If its 2021 wont it be a year old new Bronco?

From what i understand, MY21 will run through December. MY22 starts in January.

Yeah, don't know but still stinks if you have a vehicle 4 months and it's depreciated by a year. May seem like a small thing as most people including myself planning on having it for a long time. However........

I've heard that August thing thrown about repeatedly, but I don't think it's true anymore. I bought a vehicle manufactured in October 2017 vehicle with a 2017 VIN.

This site says it happens in October.

I don’t think you will have to worry about depreciation on a MY21 Bronco these will be more rare than other year Broncos. It will be kinda like having a 64 1/2 Mustang it is possible the MY21 Broncos appreciate the first two years or so, depending on demand and supply.

LOL I don't know how this happened but I Literally Got a Reservation Friday Ordered My Badlands yesterday and was emailed that my estimated build date is June. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to see mine till next year but I will continue to hold out hope.

Why all the worrying about nothing? All cars and Trucks become 1 year model older sooner or later. Ford is giving you till Dec. Would you be happier if they cut the year in Aug- along with all the other cars? Just buy your BRONCO and be happy!
