Hi, Bronco Nation -

Happy New Year!

I am looking for all of the best camping hacks and storage ideas you all have. My rig is my daily driver, so I am looking for smart options that we can load in, maximize space and storage and remove when not needed. Looking to build a removable platform to level out the back for sleeping. I have a soft top, not looking to add rails for a rooftop tent at this point.

Hope you all have a great day and take care out there!

Best camping hack I ever did was build this.

I can lift it 4” and turn it into an Overlander. Just under 1000lbs and can carry a ton of stuff.

That’s awesome!! We had considered a light camper- cause we could always keep gear in it and park it (store it). This looks awesome! Did you order a kit?

No I just designed it in AutoCAD. It was really easy it is just a plywood box. There is a builders web site that has lots of info for building. It’s a 5’ wide 8’ long. Has a queen bed and if we have shore power I can use the air conditioner.

The best hack is to take a good friend with you. That's probably the best advice, from my experience, when you go for an adventure. The gear is not that important unless you're going into the mountains, and it's cold during the nights. If you wanna read more details about gear and camping outfit, you can check this article, it has the information that you need in a structured and easy to read format. This will be of a huge help, no matter the season or the climatic zone.
