Build delay email 5/15 @8:00 PM

I just got the build delay email from Ford. My June 21st build week just got moved to the week of July 5th. Not the news I was hoping for that's for sure. I know it could be worse just thought I'd share the info.

I just received a build delay too. From June7 to June 21. I wonder if this has been the plan along? One more delay to put all the Bronco orders into the next fiscal year. Maybe they can throw in some free Bronco swag.

Watch the next Sin that they will have is the head liner they are throwing in for free because of the delays. Wouldn't that just be on point. The MIC hardtops not being the issue, but the free liner because of the delay is causing he delay.

Got the email last night, moved from the week of 21 June to 5 July.
OBX, 4 door, MIC, 2.7, Auto, Tow and High package , cloth seats and modular bumper plus and few more options.

Could be worse. At least y'all have a date. First Edition reservation made in first few minutes and still waiting on that scheduling email.

I’m gonna look at it this way now, they are getting the lower trim levels out to work out the kinks, issues,and mistakes then once the WT/FE start rolling off the production issues are already worked out.

Your hoping for issues with other Lower trim levels so your High End model will be worked out by then?

That actually might be a good way of thinking about it.

Gotta find the positive light with a day 2 reservation and WT-LUX (missed FE) since Ford pushed all based on reservation timestamp

Not sure where I said I "hoping" as you stated. It's a brand new production vehicle, we all know the first ones off will be the ones that have the issues, every manufacture sees that

I hear it's much more common for a new vehicle loaded with Technology to be more prone to issues. We all know your order has the most tech and options. Maybe this is why you aren't scheduled yet.

I'm not worried, let the bugs and issues get worked out on the early models ( I had one the first new GMC Jimmys in the mid-90's when they changed everything, ugh) and then build mine as I ordered no rush, but sure sooner the better, summer would have been nice as they promised but looks like very few if any will actually be in buyers' hands before the end of July.

Haven't gotten a delay yet, still sitting at 6/21 as far as I know.
