I just wanted to put this out there for everyone. From "Redline Tuning", you will currently not see these on their website for the "Bronco" but here is what I was told today after talking with them and installing them on my Bronco Sport.

"The full size Bronco system is already designed and ready to release, we are just waiting to get one in our shop for photos, video and those important last steps."

So for those interested they are making these for the Bronco.
15 minutes, Bolt on, no drill. No more hood prop. 100 dollars.

Thanks for sharing your pictures and checking with them on big brother. Although I am hoping I don't have to get into the engine bay often, it's always nice to be able to work on things with out that dang hood prop in the way. Much cleaner installation.

Looks like I will not be popular on this one.
I can’t stand gas struts.
Give me the prop rod any day.
Snow, ice trying to jump or give a jump with struts that can’t handle the weight , or bleed off a couple of years later.
I suppose if I planned on pulling the engine id remove the hood.
Alt , battery , belts, air cleaner ,ac charge whatever else, prop rods never got in my way to speak of.
It’s only when the gas’s struts fail on the mountaineer rear hatch or hood when trying to check reservoirs mid vacation and I’ve gotta find a stick to …
“Prop it up again”
Lol-just don’t pounce one me !
I’m entitled my opinion.

Well we all know what they say about "opinions" LMAO JK

But they did get me thinking I wanted them as I will have the ARB compressor under the hood so open to vent/cool but then I think the strut would be in the way of the passenger side where the ARB will be, Back to the Rod I think.

I will have to say that the last AM hood struts that I put on were on my Mustang and rarely ever saw cold weather. I have been bonked on the head a few times when the gas struts started sagging on the rear window on an old Expedition that I had. Didn't take too much to swap them out though.

Take it from me, you don't want your hood to sit open for too long on a windy day. The reason I ended up going to struts on my Mustang was because when I would be in the paddock with the hood open to let things cool down, the wind would pop the hood up which would release it from the prop rod and then slam shut. It only took once of that happening before I ordered struts. YMMV

Well, dang you now it might be back to struts LOL But not sure how much it would honestly be open either.

I'm with Deano on this one. Had to have helper hold the hood down against the wind while I pumped up 4 tires. Not cool.

Hmmm, My first thought is the "brushed" look of stanless will be SWEET with Antimatter Blue, but the black ones, since they're all black, WOW, that will be really low key.
Decisions decisions.....

I know, I almost chose the SS because they do look sweet and carry a 5 year warranty. Ultimately I just didn't want them to stand out to much when the hood was open.
I forgot to mention on here I do have the factory Ford hood scoop on my hood. The shocks I have hold my hood with no issues. as shown in the picture.
