Today, at a special media event at the Nevada Bronco Off-Roadeo location Ford announced Bronco DR. The ultra-limited edition, purpose built desert racing Bronco will be available in late 2022 with a starting price in the mid-$200,000s range. It has naturally aspirated 5L V8 Coyote. That's all I have to say about it but be sure to check out @Laura's article on it over on the latest news page.

Spec Sheet attached. Post your thoughts below. Oh, pretty pictures below as well.

Well, Ford went and offered the NA V8 we've all wanted!!! It's a $200k option on a $50k rig.

2023 model, delivered in 2025?

maybe ford should be focusing on making the broncos for those that are still waiting. In the mean time I will take that front bumper and fenders for my bronco

Insanely impractical and ridiciously expensive.

I’ll take it.

Ford devoting resources to building new Bronco models and trims is not delaying current production. There are tons of bottlenecks at this point that no amount of resources(both human and monetary) can solve. Only thing that’s going to solve it is time.

Thanks for posting David. Impressive.

Interesting how the above attached spec sheet uses millimeters for dimensions but pounds for weight and inches for tire/wheel specs. I looked at the Ford site {link attached} and saw Broncos measured using inches. I am guessing it may be due to racing specs being universally metric? It may be for international buyers (if available) to rich desert countries?

Yeah, I am nerding.
