At least a million I would guess. Especially with the pedigree and that it’s not a “reproduction” it’s the real thing.

Looks like they are going to sell it in Indianapolis in May. I may try to head down there to see it and take some pictures.

This rig didn't make reserve so now it's headed to Mecum Indy as well. It will be auctioned right after Big Oly.

I think the auction will be on May 22nd, if I had to guess, as Big Oly is the headliner for Indy and they'll run him on Saturday night.

I wish they were going to auction it off on the Saturday but it looks like the schedule says Friday, the 21st. No way I can get down there on a Friday. :(

Yeah, I did find out a few days ago that it's going on Friday - probably around 4:00ish. Bummer that you can't make it!

My wife and I decided to go down to Mecum this last weekend. It was disappointing we wouldn't be able to see Big Oly's actual auction live but I was hoping we would at least get to see it plus other cool stuff. This was the first time I've ever been to an auction like this although I've watched them on TV quite a few times. I was not disappointed and you should go if you ever have the chance. So much cool stuff to see. They have a lot more than cars there but other auto related items such as signs and pictures. We got the chance to see Big Oly but really couldn't get very close. They also had other vehicles in Parnelli's collection as well as a huge room dedicated to Parnelli's racing career and life. Here are a few pictures.
