Lee Iacocca had his hand in some of the most influential cars ever built. His autobiography is must read for anyone interested in business cars or not and should be read by anyone that is a car nut. Basically if you know how to read, you should read his book.

Easy to remember how to spell his last name: I Am Chairman of Chrysler Corporation of America

Iacocca died July 2 2019 at 94 years old.

Very compelling and sad. May he rest in piece!
It’s time to live again but never forget the ones we lost!

So funny Lee Iacocca would then give on to push to get the Jeep for Chrysler.

Ironic but he was a savvy businessman. He saw the value of having the product line.If Chrysler didn't buy AMC the Jeep might have become a memory. And we would have no one take tease and without the Wrangler, the Bronco may have never been revived.

Totally agree. Jeep probably would have gone away and the off-road world would be looking a lot different today. I know a lot a people bash Jeep, but if it was not for them we probably would not be getting the 2021 Bronco the way we are getting it.

Very true.
I can't bash Jeeps, I have one. I like them, but CJ-5s not Wranglers. But if I couldn't get a Bronco I would buy a Wrangler, I looked at them, it would do what I want.

Ford v Ferrari really shed some light on how innovative and important to the Ford brand he really was. Great story

You have to read about it, the movie didn't scratch the surface of Iacoccoa's contribution to Ford. His auto biography is good read.
