Anyone run USB Power to Dash?

In high package, I didn’t get the USB Ports in the dash. I hate having the cable run up the front of the screen to power go pros…

Looked at a few ways to do it, but never followed through. Has anyone found a clean, permanent solution?

I hard wired a 12v USB converter to the fuse panel under the steering wheel, mounted it with dual lock onto the back of the support panel and ran a lightning charging cable through the seam in the dash panel to power my iPhone while in a dash mounted holder.

You could use this concept and run the power cable to the left side under the dash and then up by the A pillar and then across the front of the lower portion of the windshield to power your GoPro

I believe this is what it is for, but could be tough to get access to the top of your dash without removing it. I don't have mine yet so I don't know if there is a different location on the top of the dash that would be accessible.

That would be super clean, and there are several spots on the dash tempting to drill into!

Since I hate cables and even if I had a USB port on the dash I would not find a cable that would be the perfect size. I am going to use this. I used these on my Kayak when I added some lights and a depth/fish finder. I can pull out just enough cable as I need to make the connections. run it under the dash then hard wire it in.
