They indicated that ALL orders are going to be turned off?

Anybody else hear this?

If it's good news, I wouldn't believe it. If it's bad news, I'd figure there's a 10% chance it's true. If it came from your dealer, I'd expect it has a 50/50 chance of even being the message your dealer heard from Ford.

Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.

It usually means they are going to close the order banks but all existing orders stay in the que. Then after a few weeks or months they re-open the order banks.

But, the Bronco order banks have been closed since mid March. That is way old news, why would a dealer bring it up today?

I'll offer this... MY23 starts mid August.

If it goes as before (MY21>MY22), if you don't have a VIN by 8/15?, your order will need to be reordered for the current MY (i.e., MY23).

My daughters work has 17 approved requisitions for Rangers or Colorado fleet vehicles and they have been informed by both manufacturers that they cannot place any orders at this time.

Well, as a apparent 2023MY Bronco owner (maybe 2024), do you think that we will get any price protection if we ordered a 2021? I am just worried that colors will be cancelled, options dropped (upgraded navigation), and other options that are part of the reason I ordered what I ordered when I ordered it. Anyone else concerned with the changes?

So people aren't flipping out, MY23 Bronco ORDERING starts in mid-August, production of MY22 Bronco's will continue into November.

Maybe a few reasons:
1. Nothing else meaningful to say to an otherwise disappointed customer.
2. Small talk to avoid hard talk
3. Testing to see how in tune the customer is to what has been announced…
