Wanting to get All Terrain tires for the 18” Outer Banks standard wheels? Saw BF Goodrich Baja Champion tires on the 17” Big Bend. Dealer installed these and they looked awesome. The size was 17” 245 / 65. Want to know how big we can go on our 18” Bronco Sport?

Can you recommend an aggressive size that won’t be bad for daily highway driving?

We live in Michigan so there is lots of rain, snow and pot holes. Hoping to get the Sasquatch look on out sports.

I put yokohama geolanders on my F-250 and love them. Thier quiet and smooth. You dont have to go as wide as i did. Mine are 37 x 13.5 x 18. I might ask Elon Musk to send it to the moon for that real off road experience.....20201219_153218.jpg

Falken Wildpeak AT/3. They are pretty popular now. Decent aggressive tread and sidewall. Good off road and snow performance. And decent on road mannerisms.

This is great news on both recommends of Yokohama Geolandar GO15 + Falken Wildpeak! Spent time on the phone with Tirerack today and they referenced both of these Brands Sizing was a 235 x 60 x 18”. You all agree? Wondering if I can go any bigger for an aggressive appearance?

I know this is a dumb question, but is this for the Bronco or Bronco Sport? Does the Outer Banks come with 18" wheels stock, or are you putting 18" wheels on it?

Why did Ford put “P”assenger tires as the only option in the first place (for those that don’t want sasq. Advertising OBX as “off roaring in style” and then not giving us a LT option doesn’t make sense. Please offer us a LT tire! Suggestion to Ford: give us the option to put the Badlands standard wheel and tire on the OBX. That way those of us spending about $60k won’t have to dish out another $2k to drive it in the mtns!

I was quite disappointed when I took delivery and saw the "street" tires on my Outer Banks. I had told the dealer from the beginning that I was getting the Bronco so I could take some Nevada dirt roads to locations to fly my drone. He said "perfect!", of course. I spent the next week trying to find our if the stock Michelins would be ok on dirt roads and the consensus seemed to be Yes... they would be fine. I don't want to climb rocks or do any heavy off-roading; just want to feel comfortable on a dirt, rocky road. Any thoughts or confirmation would be appreciated! I did some research and found the Falken to be the only "light duty off road/street tire" available. I'm not interested in throwing out the Michelins and spending all that money on new tires. I DO think it's unfair of Ford to show nothing but pretty heavy off-roading on ALL the Bronco commercials, when only the Badlands is actually built for this. Literally... not a single highway shot.

Sorry to hear the news on the Michelins. Love this Brand ! I received 2 recommends of #1. Yokohama Geolandar A/T GO15 for my Outer Banks 235 X 60 X 18" + #2. Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail @ 235 X 60 X 18" per the Tirerack Specialist. ! Spent time on the phone with Tirerack specialist to get this information. I also received both of these Brands via the Bronco Nation subscribers. I'm in Michigan and looking for all around good AT performance tire for mostly Snow, Rain and trailering my motorcycle. Hope this helps:) ?

Thanks. Falken does have a 225/60/18 in their on/off road tire which is the same size as the stock Michelins. My concern if I id spring for the new tires would be that I'd be sorry if they sucked (noisy, rough, etc.) on street/highway driving, which is 95% of where I drive.

Totally understand. I've read up on both Falken & Yokohama. People have reviewed both and they seem to get a good rating for noise. Here are a couple links to the reviews and companies...

Long story, but I have 18 X 7.5 stock Jeep Sahara wheels on my Jeep Rubicon. I replaced the stock Bridgestone Dueler A/T RH-3 255/70R18 after many miles with
Goodyear Duratrac 255/70R18. A little bit of noise but do look a lot better with much better traction.
