Hey ya'll from GA! Here is my '88:

Been in the family since 1989 - my brother's truck when he turned 17. I got it in 2004 when I turned 16 and did its first restoration then. Repainted it the current bright red base/clearcoat and kept the top white. Dropped in a Jasper 351W at the time and rebuilt the 4x4. Drove it all through high school and college ($5+ / gallon gas sucked back then!). No matter how hard or soft I drive, I get 10 mpg, ha. Original interior, stock height, 31" tires, straight dual exhaust.

Thanks, yeah no doubt. I've gotta get a new LF fender (same incident as the bumper) and a new hood at some point (blew up and bent it up top at the mounting points after jumping the battery one day and apparently not closing it hard enough).

Lol, I can see the sudden "oil stains" on the road from the cars in front already! That's a beast!

Baja on! As Ford Spanked the competition in 1969, in the Baja 1000, NO OTHER AUTOMAKER HAS, replicated in 50 plus years

What was the original color?

It was originally the same color scheme, red with the white top and all red interior. It was just single-stage I believe.
