I just ordered a Bronco Sport on February 19th of this year. The dealer said it would take 8-12 weeks to get the vehicle. My wife and I are expecting it to take 6 months for the car to get built. Is the timeframe from the dealership correct? Has anyone had to wait longer than 3 months for their vehicle to get built?

I ordered 12/3. Build week is 2/28. I’m guessing it will be about 3.5 months from order date to in my garage date.

If you ordered a Base, Big Bend, or Outer Banks it shouldn't be too bad. Last week they scheduled for the month of April (sounds like @TacomaBronc got picked (y) ). We don't know when they are scheduling next (though we know it isn't this week), but most likely the earliest you'll get a build date is for the month of May. From build date to delivery takes 2 - 6 weeks typically. So with a small amount of luck you should have it in your driveway sometime in June or early July.

If you ordered a Bronco Sport Badlands... hard to say. The components that are installed on the Badlands trim are currently delayed, particularly if you have the Premium package. If I was guessing you should get it sometime this fall. But Ford hasn't really provided a whole lot of info around the delays and how long it'll take to get resolved.

I ordered a badlands on 2/11. Dealer says likely build in May but could be June. He said he’s been seeing those come in 6 months lately but could be earlier. I was originally told 6-8 months. I’m the only one not wanting it early. Moving to CA from PA in July and don’t want the car to be ready too early. Ordered from a CA dealer since I knew it would take a while. Selling mine before I move and driving my wife’s Tucson there. Didn’t want to pay to ship one out there.
