After I convert my reservation to order for the 2021 model and the order is delivered until 2022, will my new Bronco be a 2021 or 2022 model. I have seen this question asked on several forums but no direct answer has ever been given.

They haven't announced when the changeover will occur between MY21 and MY22 production. No one knows. This already isn't a normal model year thanks to Covid messing up the timing of everything. Normally MY22 vehicles would start being sold in last summer to fall of 2021. Bronco MY21 isn't starting until summer 2021 now. Who knows when MY21 will actually end.

If your order is pushed back enough, you'll have to re-submit an order for a 2022. You get to keep your place in line. If your reservation date was after September 18th, then.you're already getting a '22.

My reservation was on September 7th. If had to bet on it I'd take a guess that I'll end up with a MY22 and I won't see it until January or February of 2022.

It's possible. All depends on how many orders are converted, how many parts can be sourced, and how fast they can build them. I wouldn't be surprised since production was pushed back six weeks.

I would love to know if people who reserved prior to the decision to make late reservations MY2022 can build and price with 2021 prices. I have concerns the prices are going to jump a lot for 2022.

Not sure when the model year cutoff will be, however, if you are far enough down the reservation list to receive in 2022 then I would bet will be a 2022 vs 2021 model.

Coded converted orders 99 are for 2022MY. Who knows when MY2021 will be delivered. Fords says some converted orders(150,000) will get 2022MY. Your guess is good as mine. My dealer had 170 reservations but is only getting 20% for 2021MY. Only that 2022MY on my order should open up in Sept.

Math if 150,000 converted reservations at 20% per year thats 30,000 Bronco made per year. I will be likely not get even a 2023MY.

Between 9 and 10k built a month would mean that This time next year they would be cought up to current reservations.

Hi

I elected to code 99 since I did not want 2021MY. Dealer said only 34 allotment and high end model built first. More money to dealer. Also my Range Rover Sport will not be paid off until 2022!

Yep,
I am now wondering,
How many early first 24hr reservation holders are just “DONE” with it.
As in ,
-Don’t need it.
-Don’t want it.
-Not worth the lack of transparency.
-being ignored.
-not being respected.
-being taken for granted.
-being hustled
-waiting for another year.

Ford knows they will sell all the Broncos anyways.
Just curious how many have mentally checked out with the whole mess and are just gonna move on and wash their hands of the whole mess.

I put in my reservation with the dealer about a week and a half ago. I sent him my build. . .

Of course, the very next day I see what is supposed to be a new color for 2022.

Who knows if every thing you read on the internet is true.

I'm aware I'm already waaay down the line and will get a 2022 anyways. Any clues to at what point I can change my choice or color and not wind up with my first pick?

Thanks
