FordPass points? 200,000($1000)

Wondering if anyone that ordered the Painted Black Hardtop in March has received the promised Bonus Points? If so , can you use them for down payment or only for accessories and service after your purchase? What did you order?

You don't get them "added" until you take possession of the "MOD"less top Bronco

Yup - I got 200k points but needed to contact my dealer post acquisition to have them added to my FordPass. Also received 42k for the Bronco and another 20k as a bonus for something else (maybe it was the hard top issue too)

Total points post purchase = 262,000 or $1,310 or the FRACTION of what a hard top will cost. So far, I have purchased theTailgate Molle organizer & the Tonneau cover (which remains in its original box)

The points are real - use them in good healthy!

another 700,000 points and you might be close to a MIC and then cant even imagine what the MOD will cost once its available in 2027

I ordered the 2dr. so i will probably order some small items and use the rest for service.

I am anticipating the $1000 in points, since I cancelled the Modular top. And I'll be buying one, or an aftermarket, after a year or so of using the soft top. Then I can use either, depending on the season.

Updated order in July 2021 to soft top with hard top prep kit. Based on dealership recommending to switch to get Bronco in 2021.

On 3/25/21 I received an email from Ford advising of the points as a consolation prize for not being able to produce the dual top option that I selected when I ordered my Bronco.

Here is a excerpt of the email —>

Once I picked up my Bronco, my dealer actually reminded me of the points and applied them to my FordPass account. Honestly, I had forgotten about them.

@IheartBronco I think your issue is that your selection of a MIC top did not qualify for the bonus points because you will receive what you ordered. Ford nixed the dual top & painted tops so those customers received the consolation points instead of their preferred top. I hope this helps clear it up…

YOu don't get the 200,000 unless you originally ordered a MOD top, MIC do not count towards that 200k

I have the email saying that I am getting them, But haven't received them yet. Just picked up my Bronco last Friday the 19th. The dealer said they will show up on my Ford Pass.

I received an email that I would get extra points due to the 4th delay. Got my delivery points, but not the bonus points. I think the whole system is poorly done. They don’t even explain the dollar value.

Took a week for mine to show up. No announcement. They just appeared in my account.

I'm not so sure. If you noticed, there is an asterisk by the $1100, I believe you will find out that @ResidualGenius was correct. I will say that I couldn't find anywhere that points to the asterisk's meaning though.

Ok ill keep yinz updated as I figure it out, for now I didn't pay for my accessories and the dealer is supposed to be working on pulling those points in. If you look a few sentences down in parenthesis the asterisk means eligibility based in the 3/19 order.

I had neither top on order and still got the 200k points. All I did was switch from hard top to soft top, but I did that way before they announced any of these points

From what I remember there were separate emails sent out at the same time. One was for MIC tops and the other was for the painted modular hard top. Depending on what you had originally had selected. I have always had the MIC so that is the email that I got. Others had posted about the painted modular top and if you had selected it you would get the extra 200K points. so someone who originally ordered the painted modular top, go back and check your email to see if you still have it. I believe the emails were sent out around 3/25/21

Yeah, I would have had my order on a priority of 99 at that time so I never received that email. Thanks for the info.

Correct and doesn't say you WILL get $1,100 either, its and I quote "Providing up to $1,100* worth of FordPass Reward points" and who knows where the astrick is to look. There was a thread many months ago about the MOD tops and their points, I know straight from my dealer my MIC order to soft wouldn't have gotten me any extra except like the 40,000 and whatever the other was like 20,000 or something

correct any points given had to have orders in for the 3/19 deadline that was an email too
