I was able to find this beauty a while back with the original paint. One of my favorites! Check it out and share some photos of your original paint jobs.

Any tips to help preserve an original paint job and keep it looking fresh?
best advice is to keep it out of the weather, one as nice as this deserves a spot in a garage

I was getting my tag last week here in OKC and there was an older man there with his 1979 Bronco that had just under 100k on it. This was all original never been touched XLT in red and cream color two tone. It had original tires and wheels and also had the 4 speed tranny in it. Was the cleanest I had seen driving the streets all original. I was talking to him but never thought about getting a picture.

I went with a buddy to look at an all original 73 mustang, original paint, top all of it. Just looking at those paints and comparing them to a modern paint job there is just a look of robustness and thickness to them that new paint doesn't portray. newer base coat/clear coat just give off a feeling of being thin and fragile, of not having any depth or thickness to them.
