Dashcam Mode

It is my understanding that, with the higher level packages, the ability to record excursions from the front camera will be available. My question is, will there be a dashcam mode? Can we record at all times while the vehicle is running on a loop mode? I also have to ask, where are the videos stored? Will we need to plug in a USB storage device? Will there be a MicroSD card slot built in to the vehicle?

I know we probably don't have these answers yet, but I thought it was worth asking anyway.

Sounds like a perfect aftermarket product that would be an awesome enhancement!

Sounds like a perfect aftermarket product that would be an awesome enhancement!
This can't be that hard of a mod. Could probably use the aux switch that goes to the glove box to easily turn recording on/off with a micro sd card recorder spliced into the camera output so that whatever camera is going to the display gets recorded. Someone way smarter with more patience will dial this out soon.
