Barrett-Jackson has released the lineup of vehicles being auctioned at their upcoming Palm Beach event, running April 7-9. Included in Saturday's prime time auctions is the 2022 Bronco Raptor VIN 001. This auction comes just over a year after the first 2021 Bronco sold for $1,075,000 at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, and 13 years after the first production F-150 Raptor sold at auction in 2009 for $143,000.

The first-ever Bronco Raptor, debuted in January, will bring the 4-door-only body style and extra horsepower to the new Raptor derivative. While Ford has yet to announce how many Bronco Raptors will be produced, an educated guess suggests between 2,000 and 3,000 may be made annually. This speculation is based on the production mix of F-150 Raptors produced in a non-Covid year.

Along with vehicle specs, the listing on Barrett-Jackson’s website specified that 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to two organizations: the National Forest Association and Outward Bound. Both of these groups promote exploration of national parks and forests through organized expeditions and community programs.

For those wishing to follow the auction or participate in the bidding, the Raptor will be at lot 3004. Chevrolet will go head-to-head with the Bronco Raptor charity auction by offering a 70th Anniversary Edition 2023 Z06 Corvette, also VIN 001, lot number 3009.

More information on this auction can be found on the official website listing.
