Hello! It was awesome to meet everybody today! Beautiful Broncos and awesome people! We cannot wait for the next meet or another run! It was great meeting many of you and putting some faces to the names. We were in the cactus gray Wildtrak, Lee and Alyssa. Some of you have some questions regarding some of our modifications, please feel free to reach out here or on Bronco6G!

Hey all, hope you’re doing well! Curious if anyone has been up above Shaver or knows current conditions? I’m itching to get out.. 😂
My son and his Toyota group did Miami Trails yesterday, still snowy there but got through most of it.

I saw a video posted on Instagram last Friday that showed quite a bit of snow still on Rock Creek Road. The bridge in between Bald Mountain gate and Dinky Creek Road still have snow well up over the rails.

I’m thinking of heading up 168 this weekend, likely on Sunday. Anyone interested in joining me? I’ve got static and kinetic ropes, shackles, recovery boards, a shovel, and air compressor that can reseat a 37 with the help of a ratchet strap - ask me how I know, haha

I'm bummed I missed out on this! I saw some kayak fishing videos of Shaver last week and it looked like there was not much snow at that altitude (at least of the shade or north face).

I'm going to be put of town until the end of May but would live to go do something either that last long weekend or in June.

We will most definitely be heading up the mountain many more times. Dinkey Creek Road is closed to non-residents until the 29th so we decided to try the other side of Rock Creek Road and that ended up being quite a bit of wet snow.

We weren't able to make it too far beyond the Tamarack Sno-Park gate and I got to use my kinetic line for the first time. I'm going to pickup a couple more soft shackles – they are far superior to hard shackles.

And I learned that the Bronco (and likely all 4WD vehicles) drive much better in reverse when trying to plow your way through the snow. The leading tires can't be turned into ruts as easily and you effectively get rear-steer. Worked like a charm on my aired down 33s!
