I have recently traded in my 33 Outer Banks for a Sasquatch Badlands. My Viair worked awesome with the 33s. With the new setup the locking valve will not fit into the valve stem. That 2 inch long solid piece needs to bend or I need to get longer valve stems. Any ideas what I should do?

I tried to just get a flexible extension and take off the locking valve, but turns out this is like a 3/16 not a 1/4.

Could you post a picture of the valve stem area?

My guess is, OP is talking about the beadlock "capable" wheels with the trim ring. I don't recall what the OBX wheel looks like and am too lazy to look it up.

Didn't have any close up pics of my wheels but did zoom in and snip the pic on my phone. I use an ARB knock off compressor with an inflator (from Lowes) that has a flexible end. Guessing the Viar has a solid end to it.

You're probably right. Not sure why, but I was thinking he had aftermarket rims.

@ctoddy - I made my own 4 wheel inflation hose and used this air chuck.
There's not a lot of room, but they connect to the air valve fine with the beauty rings on. Plus they are cheap. Just cut your current chuck off the hose, get the appropriate barbed adapter and you'd be good to go.

I love the look of this one too but wasn't going to buy 4 of them for the inflation hose. If you only need 1, then you might consider it.

The standard end on the Viair 400p is designed for bike tires or motorcycle wheels. It may work on some automotive wheels but not all of them. I couldn't tell from pictures what fitting was on there if you take that off. But you should be able to get a whip extension you can screw onto the end of the hose and get a new air coupler that is more straight. Viair has various replacement hoses, some with built in couplers on the end.
